Steve Chastain has just introduced his newest book. If you have built Steve's furnaces, then you know that melting a large amount of metal is easy. Properly preparing enough sand for the molds to hold all that metal can be a real chore, but here's professional grade foundry sand muller to take the work out of making molding sand. The plans in the book are scalable up or down to make a core sand muller or a 42-inch muller from a 500-gallon tank.
